Settlement Announced in Allied Mutual Litigation
On July 14, 2005, Judge Donna L. Paulsen of the District Court for Polk County, Iowa, preliminarily approved a settlement of a combined class action brought on behalf of policyholders of Allied Mutual Insurance Company who held their policies on February 18, 1993 and derivative lawsuit brought on behalf of Allied Mutual.
Judge Paulsen held a fairness hearing on October 7, 2005, and the deadline for filing claim forms was January 10, 2006.
